We are delighted to report that on 29th May our Planning Application went in to build our new school on an 8 acre site at the beautiful Stubbings Estate near Maidenhead. We are absolutely thrilled with the designs and are very excited at the prospect of having a much larger school to accommodate around 85 children up to the age of 17 over the next few years. If all goes to plan we anticipate that Phase 1 of our build will be ready and open for September 2015.
This week we held two events to launch the proposals for the new school buildings. Parents, staff and friends of the school came together on the evening of the 3rd for an informal get together to view the plans. It was a great atmosphere and everyone was overwhelmingly enthusiastic for the future.
On the 4th June we held a public exhibition for Borough and Parish Councillors, local residents and other interested parties. We are grateful to everyone who made the effort to come including our new Mayor Richard Kellaway who took time out of his busy schedule to visit. The general consensus throughout the day was very positive and supportive.
