As we approach the beginning of term on 9th September, many of you will notice we have a few changes! At this momentous time in our development and after nearly 7 years since we opened, we have thrown caution to the wind, bit the bullet and updated our corporate image to truly reflect the unique style and pioneering ethos of the school. Our new motto “Great minds think differently” refers not only to our wonderful pupils but also to the way that we at Beech Lodge think differently about education – we hope you like it!
Our new Lionheart provision for children with Dyslexia and associated learning difficulties is officially open and we are looking forward to welcoming lots of new pupils and staff who are joining us across the school. Our new Claremont wing is complete and we can’t wait to have it buzzing with the laughter and chatter of our younger pupils.
We also have a wonderful new Head – Dan Gillespie, who has been with us since January. Dan officially takes over the reins today and whilst we are sad to say ‘Au Revoir’ to former Head and co-Founder Lucy Barnes who is currently abroad on her sabbatical, we are delighted to say she is returning early next year as Principal. We are very excited to have Dan leading the charge and taking our school to even greater heights.
Lots of exciting developments and a fantastic future ahead of us!
