This beautiful poppy wreath was made by all the children during their outdoor learning sessions this week. Each pupil created an individual poppy using conkers, sticks and wool which was assembled together on to a pine cone wreath to mark Remembrance Day.
We think it is stunning! It sits on our reception table next to a wonderful poem written during the First World War by Wilfred Owen “Dulce et Decorum Est” – “It is Sweet and Right”. How apt.
