Meet Hedwig – the latest member of the Beech Lodge Community!
Hedwig is a young albino bunny who had a tough start in life, he was very ill when he was young and had to be nursed back to health by the vets at Pets at Home in Maidenhead. We adopted him as part of their Support Adoption for Pets scheme and they were delighted to discover that Hedwig was coming to live in a school.
He is only a few months old but is now a huge bouncy happy chap who loves people and is very affectionate. It was important to them that Hedwig went to live in an environment where he would be the only bunny, live indoors and get lots of human attention – well Beech Lodge certainly fits the bill!
We are delighted to report that he has settled well into his new home and has already been snuffling around the food tech room looking for tidbits.
We love him so much!
