12th July was our inaugural Founders Day marking 10 years of Beech Lodge School! Pupils enjoyed a huge variety of typically unconventional sports day events including, welly wanging, water bombing and tug of war, before parents came to join us for speeches, picnic and opening of our beautiful anniversary garden.
Leavers Emily and Megan gave heart-wrenching speeches leaving not a dry eye in the house, movingly sharing how their time at school had helped them to become the confident young women they are today. Sob! We are so proud of you and will miss you!
Our anniversary garden opening was rather curtailed by the sudden downpour of rain but George F did a sterling job symbolically cutting the ribbon in the marquee.
A glorious day was had by all!
