Outstanding KS4 Class Teacher wanted for September 2019
Class teacher wanted for a small class of Year 11 pupils who need a very nurturing approach and creative adaptation of the Secondary curriculum.
Most pupils are working towards Entry Level English and Maths qualifications and need someone who can bring these subjects alive and help them to achieve their functional skills qualifications and at the same time develop positive, nurturing relationships and life skills.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of teaching pupils who have experienced developmental trauma, have an ASD diagnosis and/or who are dyslexic/dyscalculic is highly desirable. Unfortunately, this post is not suitable for NQTs.
You will be part of a large and supportive staff team. You must be adaptable, creative and resourceful – not daunted by flexible timetable and put nurture at the heart of everything you do.
