On Thursday, Project Manager Des McGuckin of Sorbon Estates (the firm responsible for the design and build of our school) came to enlighten and educate the children about the work going on in our Phase 2 build. It was an opportunity for the children to dust off their hard hats and high vis jackets, tour the site and learn first hand about building and construction.
The children were able to study and relate the architects drawings to the building work. They learned about all the different trades involved and tried their hand at brick-laying. As the build continues, the children will have further opportunities to get involved. Can they do it? Yes they can!
