Class Teacher
What I love about my job:
The main thing I enjoy about my job is the time I have to get to know the individual children. With the small class sizes, it means I can really understand their interests, hopes and fears, along with developing positive relationships to be able to support them in the best way possible. Also, there is definitely never a dull moment!
Who or what inspires me:
One of the people who inspired me most was my primary school English teacher. I found English really tricky, but she always had faith in me and encouraged me to keep going and try my best. I wouldn't be a teacher now if it wasn't for her.
Little known fact about me:
I love country music and have a terrible habit of singing along very loudly with the car window open in summer (I have been caught out many times at traffic lights!)
